What you will do

• Maintain and repair low and medium voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, and transformers.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and facility instrumentation.
• Perform maintenance on power plant equipment including boilers, pumps, fans, and motors.
• Assess and repair Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and historian devices.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks such as thermography and ultrasonic testing.
• Participate in plant shutdown activities and equipment teardowns.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal technical or apprentice training is preferred.
• Must be able to work onsite in Alexandria, VA.
• Ability to perform physical duties and uphold safety standards.
• Commitment to completing required safety and compliance training.
