Network SE (Networking)

Location: Tokyo, Japan (Roppongi Hills). The role is hybrid-friendly.

What you will do

• Design and implement local and wide-area network solutions including IP and VOIP.
• Troubleshoot network issues and coordinate with vendors for hardware and software installation.
• Manage the full solution lifecycle, from project planning and cost analysis to go-live and maintenance.
• Build proof-of-concept solutions using advanced networking system technology.
• Review project requirements and ensure they are accurately communicated and fulfilled by the team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in network support, configuration, and implementation.
• 6+ years of experience in core switching, routing, MPLS, and firewalls.
• Proven experience in networking and security architecture across local, regional, and global domains.
• Ability to execute multiple IT projects and meet deadlines with limited supervision.

Nice to have

• Experience with Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) deployment and data center environments.
• Experience designing and implementing Software Defined Networks (SDN) and large complex networks.
• Knowledge of protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MP-BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, or VPC.
