Technician III (Engineering)

What you will do

• Perform setup, tear down, and maintenance of test boards and equipment.
• Deploy automated test boards and troubleshoot setup issues.
• Conduct electro-mechanical repairs and troubleshoot wiring for semi-complex assemblies.
• Manage test equipment inventory, calibration, and general lab housekeeping.
• Collect and track critical lab metrics and provide feedback on process efficiency.
• Coordinate with customers and colleagues to resolve engineering service requests.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a Tech-related major or 4+ years of equivalent lab or data center experience.
• Ability to read schematics, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in soldering and reworking PCBA components (SMT, Through holes).
• Must be based in Sunnyvale, California (Fully Onsite).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs of equipment.
• Proficient English communication skills (written and verbal).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, DMM, and signal analyzers.
• Basic understanding of Unix/Windows and Enterprise Networking (Switches/Routers).
• Experience with environmental chamber operation.
