What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop an international team of hardware engineers while fostering a culture of innovation.
• Define team goals, allocate resources, and align engineering efforts with company objectives.
• Provide technical guidance on the design, development, and validation of hardware systems.
• Drive long-term strategic planning and roadmapping for robotics hardware development.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders in mechanical, embedded, autonomy, and manufacturing teams.
• Manage departmental budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation and project execution.

Requirements

• 10+ years in electrical engineering with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing 15+ engineers.
• Proven track record of shipping motion robotics, drones, or similar mechatronic systems.
• Expertise in designing complex electromechanical systems with integrated sensors and battery-operated designs.
• Experience bringing products from concept to market in robotics or autonomous systems.
• Strong background in PCB design, embedded systems, and system integration.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and managing complex engineering projects.
