Salary: $140,000 - $190,000 USD

What you will do

• Build safety operations dashboards featuring real-time event feeds, video clips, and site-level risk summaries.
• Develop compliance analytics, trend reporting, and exportable reports for operational record-keeping.
• Create operator scoring and coaching workflows, including session tracking and completion.
• Implement agentic AI features, such as conversational safety assistants and auto-coaching agents.
• Own the application-layer backend, including API design and data modeling for product features.
• Iterate rapidly through real-world usage, running pilots alongside live deployments.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with depth in frontend and full-stack development.
• Strong product instincts and design taste to make UX tradeoffs without a designer.
• Experience building data-dense, real-time interfaces (event feeds, dashboards, timelines).
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and a backend language such as Go or Python.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
• Must be based in San Diego, CA to work directly with customers.

Nice to have

• Experience building or integrating AI agent features and LLM-powered surfaces.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Previous experience in safety, operations, or compliance software.
