Salary: $330,000–$375,000 annually (for CA, NY, MA)

What you will do

• Design and productionize a causal inference platform to standardize impact measurement.
• Research and implement causal estimation methods tailored to hirify.global's business questions.
• Build long-term outcome frameworks for impact projection from observational data.
• Develop diagnostic and validation standards to ensure the credibility of causal estimates.
• Leverage AI to create counterfactual scenarios and build tools for causal analysis.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Product teams to deploy production-ready solutions.

Requirements

• PhD in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field.
• 10+ years of experience applying causal inference and machine learning to real-world problems.
• Deep expertise in observational causal methods (e.g., propensity score matching, Double ML, instrumental variables).
• Proficiency with Spark, Ray, SQL, Python, and ML frameworks like scikit-learn and XGBoost.
• Experience working with terabyte- or petabyte-scale datasets in distributed environments.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model (Mon-Thu in office).
