What you will do

• Review and load financial data from private equity clients into internal accounting systems.
• Prepare and review consolidations across investment structures using defined rules.
• Manage payment processing for fund expenses and book necessary journal entries.
• Perform third-party reconciliations for investments and cash accounts.
• Calculate capital calls, distributions, management fees, and carried interest.
• Prepare investor allocations and NAV packages in accordance with service level agreements.

Requirements

• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, or CA).
• Proven experience in financial accounting, fund accounting, or audit.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, auditors, and internal teams.
• Must be based in or able to work from Halifax, NS.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in Private Equity or Private Debt sectors.
• Proficiency with the Investran platform.
