Salary: $147,000 — $202,000 USD

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable observability infrastructure using Terraform.
• Champion observability best practices and educate engineering teams on standardized instrumentation.
• Actively participate in major incident response to diagnose root causes and identify telemetry gaps.
• Provision, configure, and monitor cloud-native infrastructure and services.
• Automate operational tasks and improve existing scripts to enhance platform stability.
• Lead cross-team initiatives to improve instrumentation standards across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps experience.
• Expertise in the Datadog ecosystem (Metrics, Logs, Traces, Error Tracking).
• Strong coding skills in Node.js or Golang.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Deep understanding of microservice architecture and performance debugging.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry (OTel) or Vector.
• Experience managing Datadog configurations via Terraform.
