What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend features and APIs using modern frameworks.
• Implement efficient, secure, and scalable architectures to support fast-growing products.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams on deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while participating in technical standards development.
• Work cross-functionally with product, frontend, and AI teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Tackle complex engineering challenges related to distributed systems and AI product integration.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Python or another backend language (JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Golang).
• Strong understanding of backend fundamentals including APIs, databases, caching, and distributed architectures.
• Ownership mindset capable of shipping end-to-end features with minimal oversight.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, low-ego attitude.
• Must be based in or able to work from Warsaw, Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with frontend development (TypeScript, React, NextJS) or full-stack exposure.
• Knowledge of infrastructure management (Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Background in AI/ML engineering.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
