What you will do

• Procure and launch new controls engineering programs for manufacturing facilities.
• Diagnose and correct deficiencies in manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Support the deployment of new technologies including robotics, PLC, and HMI systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and plant management to solve operational problems.
• Conduct controls run-offs at OEM sites and approve controls drawings.
• Continuously improve manufacturing quality, cost, responsiveness, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, or Automotive Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an electrical or process controls engineering role.
• Proficiency in Rockwell Automation, Siemens PLC, and HMI systems.
• Experience with Cognex/Matrox Vision systems and Allen Bradley automation equipment.
• Experience with Fanuc robot programming and AutoCAD.
• Must be able to report to the local office in Warren, Michigan.
