TL;DR
Network Operations Engineer (Cisco/Aruba): Resolving production environment incidents and managing large-scale network infrastructure with an accent on L2/L3 routing, switching, and wireless connectivity. Location: Must be based in the Philippines (Manila/Pasay City); On-site or Remote options available.

What you will do
- Resolve approximately 80% of production incidents involving LAN, MAN, and wireless networks.
- Handle escalated issues from Tier 1 across data centers, voice systems, and security platforms.
- Execute network changes and configurations while maintaining comprehensive troubleshooting documentation.
- Perform deep packet capture and analysis using Wireshark and Netscout to identify network anomalies.
- Manage external vendors and telecommunications providers to facilitate rapid incident resolution.
- Mentor Tier 1 support staff to enhance team technical proficiency and event handling strategies.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in the Philippines.
- Minimum 3 years in a NOC analyst/engineer role and 5+ years in a Tier 2 operations capacity.
- Two or more of the following certifications: CCNP-X, CCIE, ACSP, ACMP, or RCSP.
- Expertise in Cisco routers, Aruba wireless devices, and Riverbed SteelHeads.
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, EIGRP routing, VLAN configuration, and spanning-tree protocol.
- Strong communication skills for leading technical troubleshooting during critical incident bridges.
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Server (2008-2012), Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365 hybrid deployments.
- Exposure to network management systems such as NetCool, nGenius, SevOne, AppNeta, or Netscout.
- Certifications such as JNCIP, JNCIE, or MCSE.
- Working knowledge of PowerShell, Windows Shell, or Command Shell.
