What you will do

• Build and structure the local Internal Audit area, defining processes, methodologies, and governance.
• Conduct internal audits focused on financial institutions according to Luxembourg banking regulations.
• Critically evaluate internal controls and risks to provide recommendations aligned with CSSF requirements and market best practices.
• Collaborate with local and global teams, participating in strategic meetings to ensure risk mitigation.
• Monitor and follow up on action plans resulting from audit work to ensure the effectiveness of improvements.
• Provide senior management with objective reports on the status of internal controls and institutional risks.

Requirements

• Solid experience in internal audit or control within banks regulated by the CSSF and other Luxembourg regulations.
• Deep knowledge of local regulations for financial institutions and banks.
• Ability to structure audit areas and processes with a strategic and technical vision.
• Analytical and communicative profile with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Fluency in English.
• Availability to work full-time on-site in Luxembourg.

• Knowledge of French or German.
