Technical Lead (VTEX)

What you will do

• Lead technical design and architecture for VTEX projects.
• Review, guide, and approve technical solutions and conduct code reviews.
• Mentor developers and support technical onboarding and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to align technical direction with business goals.
• Identify technical risks, resolve complex escalated issues, and advocate for modern tools and methodologies.
• Ensure performance, scalability, security, accessibility, and technical SEO standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of frontend development experience, including significant e-commerce experience.
• Strong VTEX IO expertise and experience with FastStore.
• Proficiency in React, JavaScript, CSS, SASS or LESS, and Node.js fundamentals.
• Experience designing scalable modular frontend architectures and integrating GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, npm, Webpack, Gulp, Git, responsive design, mobile-first development, and technical SEO.
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) required for technical discussions and documentation.

Nice to have

• VTEX certifications.
• Next.js, server-side rendering, and headless CMS experience.
• Testing experience with Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
• Experience with state management, performance monitoring, and error tracking tools.
• Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Team Lead, or Solution Architect.
