What you will do

• Analyze raw data sets to create meaningful impact for large enterprise clients while maintaining scientific rigor.
• Engineer data pipelines and products to help stakeholders execute data-driven decisions.
• Design and implement AI/ML models using Google’s Vertex AI, AutoML, and Gemini APIs.
• Build data pipelines and training workflows using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Functions.
• Create highly visual and interactive dashboards via Power BI, Looker, or custom web applications.
• Architect cloud data platform components and design KPIs to measure business success.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
• Experience developing, customizing, and applying Large Language Models (LLMs) for real-world systems.
• Degree in quantitative studies (Engineering, Math, Statistics, CS) or equivalent industry experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R.
• Must be based in Colombia.

Nice to have

• Experience with BigQuery Data Transfer Service and Transfer APIs.
• Proficiency in visualization tools like PowerBI, ggplot2, matplotlib, or D3.
• Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud architectures.
• Experience with pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow, Luigi, or Prefect.
• Fullstack development skills (React/Vue/Angular, REST/GraphQL) and API design.
• Experience leading and managing technical AI/ML projects.
