Production Support Analyst (Java/Kafka/Mongo)

Location: Remote in Colombia; availability required from 12 pm to 8 pm CST, Sunday through Thursday.

What you will do

• Provide end-user assistance and maintain the smooth operation of software applications and systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, monitor system performance, and identify production malfunctions.
• Read logs, query databases, and review code to triage and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement fixes and enhancements.
• Report trends and provide insights into system and software strengths and weaknesses.
• Build operational consistency, playbooks, and process improvements across client accounts.

Requirements

• Availability for 12 pm–8 pm CST, Sunday–Thursday.
• Proficiency in Kafka, MongoDB, Java, and Spring.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and independent working skills.
• Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Ability to communicate with customers and colleagues at different levels and synthesize data into insights.
