Salary: $137,500 - $183,500 USD

What you will do
- Develop and refine heavy asynchronous execution patterns to maximize thread efficiency.
- Design scalable, non-blocking architectures for high-throughput data processing.
- Aggressively reduce memory allocations and GC pressure using advanced profiling tools.
- Conduct low-level root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve production performance bottlenecks.
- Analyze architectural trade-offs regarding memory layout, data structures, and system performance.
- Collaborate with senior engineering leadership to drive memory-aware development practices.
Requirements
- Must be based in the US.
- 4+ years of professional experience in performance-critical environments using C++, C, Rust, C#, or Java.
- Deep expertise in asynchronous, event-driven, or multi-threaded programming.
- Strong understanding of memory management, cache-locality, and algorithmic trade-offs.
- Proficiency in bit manipulation, pointer arithmetic, and low-level performance tuning.
- Proven track record of using CPU/memory profilers to solve structural performance issues.
Nice to have
- Experience in secure environments such as FedRAMP, IL5, or IL6.
- Active security clearance.
- Background in game engine development, HFT, or database internals.
