Salary: $94,150 - $150,650 Annually

What you will do

• Install, configure, and maintain production and development MSSQL 2022 instances.
• Perform database performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning.
• Configure and manage Always on Availability Groups and SSIS packages.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for task automation.
• Harden SQL instances according to DISA, FISMA, and government STIGs.
• Collaborate with developers on new application design and database integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or 13+ years of relevant experience.
• 8+ years of professional database administration experience.
• Must be able to pass a government Tier 2 Moderate Background Investigation.
• Strong expertise in MSSQL 2022 and database security hardening.
• Ability to provide 24x7 on-call support one week per month.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Nice to have

• MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Administration Certification.
• MCSE: Data Management and Analytics Certification.
• Experience with MongoDB administration.
