What you will do

• Own the architecture for the Finance Technology platform, including pay-ins, payouts, invoicing, and tax calculation.
• Lead multi-quarter initiatives end-to-end, from problem definition and system design to hands-on delivery.
• Define clear, versioned APIs and contracts for Finance Technology services across all channels.
• Evaluate and integrate modern payment service providers and gateways while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Drive innovation in the AI-native SDLC and partner with senior leaders to align on shared technical standards.
• Mentor team members through design reviews, code reviews, and architectural guidance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional development experience with a focus on backend technologies (Go, Ruby on Rails, Java, or similar).
• Deep experience designing and scaling payment-processing and payout systems in high-volume environments.
• Hands-on experience with payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, Braintree) and understanding of PCI/SCA compliance.
• Proven track record as a technical lead on multi-team initiatives.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship provided).
• Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter for team gatherings and Together Weeks.
