TL;DR

Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular): Building and migrating a cloud-based Web Dashboard for healthcare EDI transactions with an accent on RESTful API design and secure data transformation. Focus on integrating Java/NodeJS back-ends with Angular front-ends and deploying scalable services on AWS.

Location: Remote. Must be a U.S. Citizen and based in the U.S. Candidates from CA, CO, IL, MN, NJ, NY, OR, or WA will not be considered.

Salary: $85,389 - $116,975

What you will do

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application that processes healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to retrieve, transform, and serve EDI healthcare records.
• Develop and maintain Angular-based front-end components to ensure data is accurately surfaced to business and clinical users.
• Collaborate with C#/.Net and AWS data engineers to define clean API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery.
• Implement unit and integration testing and support the deployment and monitoring of services in production on AWS.
• Utilize Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development within an Agile framework.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is strictly required.
• Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.
• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong back-end focus in Java and/or NodeJS.
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs that consume and transform structured healthcare/EDI data (XML, JSON).
• Hands-on experience with Angular or another modern front-end framework.
• Proficiency with AWS services, including API Gateway, Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch.

Nice to have

• Experience with X.12 medical claims (837, 834, 277, etc).
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG 2.1).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS).
• Familiarity with C#/.Net back-end services for cross-team integration.
• Experience in high-paced DevOps environments.
