Application Support Engineer (Fintech)

Salary: $110,000 - $145,000

What you will do

• Provide L1/L2 support for ION Front Office eTrading applications (Fixed Income/IRD).
• Troubleshoot trade lifecycle issues including capture, pricing, PnL, and risk.
• Investigate data breaks and positions using SQL and Unix/Linux diagnostics.
• Analyze FIX protocol, APIs, and messaging systems to ensure stable trading flows.
• Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell for monitoring and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and developers to resolve issues and improve platform performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Front Office Application Support within eTrading environments.
• Strong understanding of Fixed Income products and pre-trade workflows.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux, SQL, and log analysis.
• Familiarity with FIX protocol and electronic trading architecture.
• Ability to operate in a high-pressure trading floor environment.
• Visa Sponsorship: Supported only for TN and E-2 visas; H-1B is not supported.

Nice to have

• Experience with ION (MarketView / Anvil) or similar pre-trade platforms.
