Location: Must be based in Ukraine or Europe (Remote or Hybrid).

What you will do
- Design and implement core components of the audience segmentation platform.
- Develop scalable evaluation engines for processing large-scale entity and relationship data.
- Create event-driven pipelines for real-time segment accuracy and data consistency.
- Design low-latency resolution services for high-scale operations.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define platform architecture and capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Strong Java expertise.
- Proven experience building distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and domain-driven design principles.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and designing scalable APIs.
- Upper-Intermediate+ English level.
Nice to have
- Experience with recommendation engines or Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
- Knowledge of Quarkus and search technologies like Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
- Experience with stream processing and Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with graph-based data models and relationship traversal.
