What you will do

• Develop and maintain robust Java applications using Spring and Kafka.
• Optimize SQL performance and troubleshoot complex production systems using monitoring and profiling tools.
• Build scalable, high-load systems designed to handle massive user volumes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features that impact player experience.
• Implement automation and maintain high code quality standards across all environments.
• Work with a modern tech stack including Docker, GCP, and reactive programming frameworks.

Requirements

• Solid experience as a Java Engineer with strong knowledge of Java Core (Java 8+).
• Expertise in multithreading, high-load systems, and the Spring framework.
• Proven experience with SQL optimization and production troubleshooting.
• Background working in product companies within collaborative, cross-functional teams.
• Strong English communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Must be based in Ukraine.

Nice to have

• Production experience with Kafka and its ecosystem.
• Experience with Ebean or Protobuf.
• Experience with Kibana, ElasticSearch, or Grafana.
