What you will do

• Optimize chemical and ultrasonic cleaning methods for sensitive optical components to ensure stability and reliability.
• Identify contaminants and implement effective removal strategies based on semiconductor-grade cleanliness standards.
• Lead new equipment projects from specification and vendor engagement through installation and internal qualification.
• Analyze process and test data to identify trends, stabilize operations, and reduce variation.
• Generate high-quality technical documentation, including engineering test plans and equipment specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve critical contamination escalations.

Requirements

• Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology per US Export Administration Regulations.
• Experience in lithography, precision optics, contamination control, or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of chemical cleaning media, material compatibility, and precision cleaning science.
• Proficiency with structured problem-solving frameworks such as FMEA, DMAIC, or 8D.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Python or MATLAB for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with SPC, JMP, Minitab, or similar statistical analysis tools.
