What you will do

• Become the internal expert on the company data model, managing table relationships and data integrity.
• Design and build reusable analytical structures, including entities, cohorts, and analysis-ready datasets.
• Establish standards for naming, versioning, lineage, and documentation to ensure auditability.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into testable analyses with defensible methodologies.
• Partner with data product managers and BI engineers to deliver product-facing measures.
• Utilize AI tooling (LLMs, code copilots, semantic search) as a core part of the analytical workflow.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on healthcare data analytics experience in claims, clinical, or behavioral health data.
• Expert SQL skills for writing and tuning complex queries at scale and designing analytical schemas.
• Demonstrated experience building semantic layers or marts consumed by other stakeholders.
• Working fluency with at least one BI tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) and Python.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex methodologies to non-technical executives.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity from the Holmdel, NJ office

Nice to have

• Experience in ABA, autism services, or behavioral health analytics.
• Knowledge of value-based care, alternative payment models, or population health analytics.
• Experience with modern data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
• Proficiency with semantic-layer tools such as dbt or LookML.
