We are looking for a strong Data Engineer to contribute to a complex data-focused project on a project-based engagement, with the flexibility to combine this opportunity with their current role.

🔸 Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain data models for analytics and business reporting in Power BI.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and/or Azure Data Factory.
• Work with data from data lakes, Databricks, and enterprise data sources.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and compliance with standards such as GxP and GDPR.
• Optimize data processing workflows for performance and cost efficiency.
• Set up monitoring for data pipelines and reporting systems using Azure Monitor, Datadog, or similar tools.
🔸 Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Databricks, PySpark, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Data Factory or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
• Understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data security best practices.
• Experience with Delta Lake or similar technologies would be a plus.
• Previous experience in regulated domains such as healthcare, pharma, or fintech would be a plus.
