What you will do

• Build AI-powered product features using retrieval mechanisms, workflows, and multi-step agent patterns.
• Implement AI capabilities in Python using LangChain, LangGraph, and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.
• Develop and maintain retrieval and unstructured-data processing pipelines for documents and web content.
• Design AI APIs with clean service boundaries for integration into Java-based product systems.
• Drive prompt and context engineering to improve AI quality, reliability, and usability.
• Implement evaluation harnesses, regression checks, and quality controls for agentic systems.

Requirements

• Must be based in Germany.
• Strong practical experience with Python and building AI-powered product features in production.
• Deep knowledge of LLM application development, agentic RAG, and workflow orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain and/or LangGraph.
• Strong AWS knowledge including OpenSearch, S3, and DynamoDB.
• Fluent English skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Deep Agents or similar multi-step planning-oriented agent harnesses.
• Experience with web search APIs and crawling frameworks like Firecrawl or Crawl4AI.
• Experience with React and frontend prototyping.
• Experience with AI observability, tracing, and monitoring tools.
• Experience in multi-team SaaS environments.
