What you will do

• Review critical solution designs and veto architectures that present performance or reliability risks.
• Architect and operate a centralized performance and load testing platform for development squads.
• Design and lead end-to-end performance tests and Chaos Engineering experiments to identify system weaknesses.
• Analyze long-term performance metrics and SLOs to proactively resolve regressions and bottlenecks.
• Lead performance incident war rooms using advanced profiling and distributed tracing tools.
• Optimize critical code paths and prototype fixes to improve system stability and efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering with Java or Python.
• Deep expertise in public cloud environments (GCP or AWS) and legacy system integration.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, queuing, caching, and failure modes.
• Proficiency in modern communication patterns including high-throughput APIs, Kafka event-driven architectures, and batch processing.
• Expertise in monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and distributed tracing.
• Full professional proficiency in English is required for our international environment.
