What you will do
- Maintain and support Linux-based test environments to ensure availability, reliability, and readiness for development.
- Administer and troubleshoot Java-based applications running on Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server.
- Operate Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift environments to ensure smooth deployment and configuration.
- Investigate and resolve technical incidents across application, infrastructure, and networking layers.
- Develop Bash scripts to automate recurring operational tasks and improve environment management.
- Collaborate with technical teams and customer stakeholders in German and English.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, System Engineering, or Linux Administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Proficiency in supporting Java-based applications and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP) and basic SQL for Oracle or DB2 troubleshooting.
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
- Must be based in Romania.
- Proficiency in using AI tools to automate repetitive work and improve productivity.
