What you will do

• Design and develop distributed backend services using .NET and event-driven architecture.
• Collaborate with product and commercial teams to turn engagement ideas into scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Optimize the microservice ecosystem for performance, reliability, and observability.
• Drive the strategy for containerization and cloud migration.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and conduct peer code reviews.
• Maintain technical documentation including ADRs and runbooks, and participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Solid experience with C# and modern .NET (.NET Core and later).
• Proficiency with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, or Couchbase, including query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Strong understanding of unit, integration, and performance testing (e.g., xUnit/NUnit, k6).
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly from Malaga, Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience with messaging systems like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Orleans.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or Splunk.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), event sourcing, and the actor model.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and trunk-based development.
