What you will do

• Own and produce innovative technical solutions, architecture design documents, and low-level technical specifications.
• Communicate technical designs clearly to internal teams, 3rd party integrators, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify impacts of proposed architectures and suggest better alternative solutions.
• Mentor junior architects and developers while sharing knowledge across the team.
• Estimate design and implementation effort for complex eCommerce solutions.
• Ensure end-to-end technical delivery meets high standards for performance, scalability, and security.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Magento / Adobe Commerce and structured PHP development.
• Deep understanding of application, integration, and data architecture, including MySQL.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale eCommerce solutions using modern approaches like micro-services and cloud.
• Strong technical leadership skills to guide development teams and clients.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to work from the London office four days a week.

Nice to have

• Adobe Commerce Architect or Expert Developer certification.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Redis, Varnish, or RabbitMQ.
