What you will do

• Define and maintain application architecture standards, principles, and best practices across the integration and API engineering organization.
• Design scalable, secure, and highly available API ecosystems and cloud-native solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure.
• Lead architecture reviews and integration strategies across internal applications, ERP, SaaS platforms, and external partners.
• Facilitate domain discovery and event storming workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Drive the adoption of AI-powered engineering practices and LLM integration to improve business value and developer productivity.
• Mentor architects and technical leads while promoting TDD, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Architecture, Principal, or Staff Engineer roles.
• Deep expertise in .NET (Core/6+), C#, API Architecture, DDD, and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).
• Hands-on experience with Azure services: APIM, Functions, Service Bus, Event Hubs, AKS, and Application Insights.
• Proven ability to identify and drive AI adoption and governance within engineering teams.
• Location: Must be based in Mexico City, Mexico
