What you will do

• Lead system architecture studies and reviews to align North American requirements with global initiatives.
• Define system requirements and connect them to verification and validation strategies for robust hardware and software solutions.
• Act as a technical expert throughout the product lifecycle, providing direction and ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
• Drive innovation by leveraging automation, Artificial Intelligence, and digital tools to enhance R&D efficiency.
• Manage cybersecurity initiatives to protect connected elevator systems from evolving risks.
• Maintain up-to-date system architecture documentation and ensure adherence to global design quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Architecture, Software, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in systems-level design, engineering, or architecture within technical or R&D environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and the interaction between hardware and software components.
• Experience with digital products, including networking, communication protocols, cloud services, APIs, and cybersecurity.
• Deep technical expertise in control, embedded, and digital systems.
• English: Professional proficiency (verbal and written).
