TL;DR

IVR QA Engineer (Amazon Connect): Validating and ensuring the quality of contact center solutions built on Amazon Connect with an accent on IVR flows, voice/chatbot interactions, and backend integrations. Focus on designing detailed test cases, executing end-to-end routing logic validation, and implementing automation scripts using Cyara and Selenium.

What you will do

  • Validate IVR call flows, routing logic, and customer journeys for inbound, outbound, and callback flows.
  • Test integrations between Amazon Connect, AWS services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway), and backend systems.
  • Design and execute comprehensive functional, regression, system, and integration test cases.
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Cyara, Selenium, or API testing frameworks.
  • Identify, log, and track defects, collaborating closely with developers and business analysts for resolution.
  • Perform smoke and sanity testing during releases and support UAT and production validation.

Requirements

  • 3–8 years of experience in QA or testing roles.
  • Hands-on experience in IVR / Contact Center testing.
  • Proficiency with Amazon Connect or similar telephony platforms.
  • Experience with API testing and AWS services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Dallas, TX or Saint Louis, MO, USA.

Nice to have

  • Experience with specialized IVR testing tools such as Cyara or Hammer.
  • Exposure to chatbot/voice bot testing using Amazon Lex or equivalent.
  • Experience with automation frameworks like REST Assured.
  • Knowledge of other contact center platforms like Avaya or Genesys.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps testing practices.
