Search Account Director (AI)

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom; hybrid work with office attendance around four days a week

What you will do

• Oversee the planning, strategy, activation, optimisation, and reporting of paid search campaigns.
• Lead team output and ensure high-quality client-facing and operational deliverables across UK-based and global teams.
• Build client and partner relationships, provide search insights, and align campaign strategies with business objectives and KPIs.
• Manage junior team members, prioritise workloads, support career development, and contribute to recruitment and interviews.
• Drive process automation using AI tools, scripts, and third-party solutions.
• Ensure adherence to paid search best practices, controls, finance processes, briefs, timelines, and budgets.

Requirements

• Extensive expertise in search campaign setup, management, optimisation, and reporting.
• Experience with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads; Search Ads 360 experience is ideal.
• Strong understanding of strategic and tactical paid search and digital marketing.
• Proven experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and people management.
• Ability to lead and manage hybrid teams across multiple markets.
• Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
