TL;DR

Location: Full in-studio or hybrid (minimum 3 days per week) in Cambridge, UK. Relocation support is available.

What you will do

• Define and communicate the artistic vision and quality bar, ensuring alignment with game design and product strategy.
• Direct Leads and Principal artists to ensure consistent delivery and alignment with the project vision at scale.
• Provide project-level feedback and make senior-level decisions on trade-offs between quality, scope, and delivery constraints.
• Partner with Production and project leadership to ensure the vision is achievable within timelines and technical limits.
• Oversee the management of outsourced content and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
• Contribute to the broader Art Leadership group and departmental success.

Requirements

• Proven track record of setting and delivering art direction on shipped titles from concept to release.
• Exceptional artistic judgement across multiple disciplines and a strong grasp of game pipelines.
• Experience leading and developing Senior Artists and Leads.
• Ability to align large, cross-disciplinary teams behind a clear creative vision.
• Experience working with external partners and outsourcing pipelines.
• Must be able to work from the Cambridge, UK studio (hybrid/onsite).

Nice to have

• Experience defining the visual identity of a new IP or major product evolution.
• Background working across multiple artistic styles or genres.
• Experience with product positioning, branding, or market-facing visuals.
• Familiarity with industry-standard digital content creation and engine tools.
