What you will do

• Define and own data storage and management architecture for software and AI/ML workflows.
• Develop and maintain tools for AI/ML R&D teams, including workflow orchestration and test infrastructure.
• Design and build a next-generation data lake from the ground up.
• Operate platform infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD best practices.
• Enforce data access policies and GDPR compliance across research datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ML researchers, product developers, and DevOps.

Requirements

• English proficiency required for an international environment.
• Strong application development skills in Python.
• Experience with API frameworks like FastAPI or Django REST.
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB).
• Experience with S3-compatible object storage (Ceph/Rook).
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
• Strong mindset for automated testing (pytest) and code quality.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Helm and ArgoCD.
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management solutions like Keycloak.
• Experience with OpenSearch or similar analytics tools.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI and deployment automation (Ansible).
