TL;DR
Senior Data Scientist (AI): Designing and scaling AI-driven pricing solutions for a global refurbished marketplace with an accent on machine learning model implementation and optimization algorithms. Focus on driving pricing intelligence, owning end-to-end projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate models into production-ready features.
Location: Hybrid (Paris, Barcelona, or Bordeaux). Must be based in or able to work from these locations.

What you will do
- Design and implement machine learning models and optimization algorithms to fuel pricing strategies.
- Own projects end-to-end from problem definition and data extraction to model deployment.
- Collaborate with data scientists and backend engineers to integrate models into production.
- Design and analyze experiments to measure the impact of fee strategies and model changes.
- Leverage statistical analysis to uncover actionable insights for business and product decisions.
- Communicate complex technical findings to diverse stakeholders including senior management.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of industry experience as a data scientist.
- Master’s or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Economics, or Engineering.
- Proven track record of deploying data science projects into production environments.
- Strong grasp of machine learning, statistical concepts, and experimentation design.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with software engineering principles including testing, code reviews, and deployment.

- Experience in pricing, B2C marketplaces, or revenue management.
