What you will do

• Design and implement machine learning models and optimization algorithms to fuel pricing strategies.
• Own projects end-to-end from problem definition and data extraction to model deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists and backend engineers to integrate models into production.
• Design and analyze experiments to measure the impact of fee strategies and model changes.
• Leverage statistical analysis to uncover actionable insights for business and product decisions.
• Communicate complex technical findings to diverse stakeholders including senior management.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of industry experience as a data scientist.
• Master’s or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Economics, or Engineering.
• Proven track record of deploying data science projects into production environments.
• Strong grasp of machine learning, statistical concepts, and experimentation design.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with software engineering principles including testing, code reviews, and deployment.

Nice to have

• Experience in pricing, B2C marketplaces, or revenue management.
