DevOps Trainee (Fintech)

TL;DR

DevOps Trainee (DevOps/Fintech): Designing and implementing solutions for CI/CD, automation and AI initiatives with an accent on software delivery pipelines and infrastructure efficiency. Focus on writing Ansible playbooks, developing automation scripts, and maintaining CI/CD applications.

Location: Porto, Portugal. Candidates must be eligible for an IEFP Level VI Internship.

What you will do

• Maintain applications responsible for running CI/CD pipelines.
• Write and execute Ansible playbooks to drive automation.
• Develop simple scripts in Python, Bash, or Go for system integration and task automation.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and support infrastructure and development teams.
• Participate in the evaluation, design, and implementation of new DevOps solutions.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or related fields.
• Coding experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Solid familiarity with Linux operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps tools including GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, or AWS.
• Fluent English (verbal and written) is required.
• Must be eligible for an IEFP Level VI Internship.
