What you will do
- Lead, coach, and support Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts through 1:1s, feedback, and development conversations.
- Set clarity on priorities, ownership, and team ways of working to ensure sustainable delivery.
- Partner with architects and area leads to shape technical direction and long-term improvements.
- Support technical decision-making and balance short-term delivery with long-term sustainability.
- Drive a collaborative, inclusive, high-performing engineering culture and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
Requirements
- Strong technical background in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics.
- Experience leading people formally or informally (Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, Team Lead, or similar).
- Ability to contribute to discussions on data modeling, analytics engineering, semantic layers, data products, and modern data architectures.
- Hands-on familiarity with dbt, Databricks, Spark SQL, or similar technologies.
- Experience with BI and analytics platforms.
- Comfort working in AI/ML or data product environments.
