Azure DevOps Lead

TL;DR

Azure DevOps Lead (Azure/Cloud): Owning the cloud and DevOps architecture roadmap for a modern enterprise-grade platform with an accent on IaC, CI/CD, and Kubernetes orchestration. Focus on designing production-grade infrastructure, driving observability with Dynatrace, and leading a cross-functional team to ensure high reliability and security.

Location: Must be based in Bulgaria or Poland, with frequent onsite visits to the client in Doha, Qatar (including initial onboarding).

What you will do

• Define the vision and standards for cloud and DevOps architecture on Azure.
• Design and maintain production-grade infrastructure using Terraform modules.
• Build and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines for multi-environment deployments.
• Manage AKS clusters and containerized workloads.
• Implement platform-wide observability using Dynatrace and Azure Monitor.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the DevOps team while establishing engineering standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or SRE roles, with 2+ years in a lead or architect capacity.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (AKS, VNet, Key Vault, etc.) and Terraform.
• Proven experience running Kubernetes in production.
• Extensive knowledge of GitLab CI/CD and cloud networking.
• Practical experience with Dynatrace or similar observability tools.
• Must be willing to travel to Doha, Qatar for onsite work and onboarding.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GitOps approaches (ArgoCD / Flux).
• Experience with FinOps or cloud cost optimization.
• Relevant certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, or Dynatrace).
