What you will do
- Lead and manage capital and tooling purchasing processes including RFA and RFQ execution.
- Develop and implement supplier strategies in collaboration with manufacturing engineering and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze quotes to determine best value and negotiate contract terms to support business agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular review meetings, and drive corrective actions for sustained results.
- Formulate annual business plans to achieve cost reductions and year-over-year performance improvements.
- Collaborate proactively with cross-functional departments to address current and future plant needs.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in Business (Supply Chain/Purchasing) or Engineering (Product/Manufacturing).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Capex and Indirect procurement.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are highly valued.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP and MS Office software.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Strong understanding of blueprints and technical specifications.
