What you will do
- Collect, clean, and analyze economic and demographic data from various public sources.
- Interpret and visualize technical information to support client deliverables and strategic planning.
- Participate in community engagement activities, including stakeholder meetings and public workshops.
- Conduct research on topics related to community and economic development.
- Support internal business development activities, including proposal preparation and team collaboration.
Requirements
- Must be physically located in Pittsburgh, PA.
- Currently a graduate student or recent graduate in economics, data analytics, statistics, public policy, business, or planning.
- Basic experience with analytical tools such as Excel, R, Python, GIS, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Familiarity with public data sources like U.S. Census Bureau, BLS, or BEA.
- Strong research, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work 15-20 hours per week during standard business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET).
