What you will do

• Collect, clean, and analyze economic and demographic data from various public sources.
• Interpret and visualize technical information to support client deliverables and strategic planning.
• Participate in community engagement activities, including stakeholder meetings and public workshops.
• Conduct research on topics related to community and economic development.
• Support internal business development activities, including proposal preparation and team collaboration.

Requirements

• Must be physically located in Pittsburgh, PA.
• Currently a graduate student or recent graduate in economics, data analytics, statistics, public policy, business, or planning.
• Basic experience with analytical tools such as Excel, R, Python, GIS, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Familiarity with public data sources like U.S. Census Bureau, BLS, or BEA.
• Strong research, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work 15-20 hours per week during standard business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET).
