Location: New Orleans, Louisiana, United States
Salary
Hourly pay: $30.50–$37.00 (plus $2.00 shift differential for 9:00PM–7:30AM) and a $10,000 cash bonus after a 12-month commitment ($5,000 after six months, $5,000 after 12 months).
What you will do
- Perform assigned maintenance duties in accordance with the Breeze General Maintenance Manual (GMM).
- Complete maintenance forms and keep documentation current for open discrepancies and corrective actions.
- Handle parts, units, assemblies, and aircraft properly during the repair process.
- Perform troubleshooting, run-up, and taxi procedures, and sign mechanical flight releases.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and operative work area; ensure tools are accounted for at task completion.
- Maintain required certifications (Airframe & Powerplant or Repairman Certificate) and submit OJT Task Cards on time.
Requirements
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License (current, valid, and with no history of infractions) and recent experience on commercial aircraft types.
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications.
- Authorization to work in the US and ability to travel unrestricted to and from the United States.
- Valid driver’s license, valid passport with no travel restrictions, and age 18+.
- Willingness to work all shifts for a 24/7 operation and travel about 20% of the time.
- Must pass DOT pre-employment drug test and TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check, and be able to obtain/maintain a SIDA badge.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of FAA regulations including FAR part 121 operations.
- Experience maintaining Embraer E-Jet and/or Airbus A220 family aircraft.
- Familiarity with an airline Maintenance Information System (MIS) such as TRAX.
- Degree in Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance, or Business.
