Principal Product Manager (Fintech)

TL;DR

Principal Product Manager (Fintech): Owning the roadmap for risk and compliance products with an accent on AML, KYC, and fraud prevention systems. Focus on translating complex global regulatory requirements into scalable, frictionless product features while collaborating with engineering and legal teams.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to San Francisco, California (Hybrid: 2 days onsite per week)

What you will do

• Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for risk and compliance tools including transaction monitoring and sanctions screening.
• Translate complex global regulatory requirements into scalable product features and processes.
• Partner with Risk and Compliance teams to identify and mitigate risks in real time.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data, and Legal teams to deliver compliance-by-design solutions.
• Evaluate and manage third-party vendors for compliance data and tools.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor compliance performance and fraud trends.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Product Management with 3+ years specifically in risk, compliance, or fraud within fintech or financial services.
• Deep understanding of AML/CFT, sanctions, fraud, and data privacy regulations.
• Proven ability to deliver compliant solutions that scale across multiple markets.
• Strong technical acumen with experience working alongside engineering teams and data pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
