What you will do

• Run the full procurement lifecycle: supplier selection, RFQ/RFP issuance, purchase order creation, tracking, and delivery follow-up.
• Source and qualify suppliers to meet DFARS and ITAR requirements where applicable.
• Develop supplier relationships and manage performance through check-ins and site visits.
• Perform cost analysis and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve best value while staying compliant.
• Coordinate with operations/administrative teams to meet budget goals and technical/quality specifications.
• Maintain procurement documentation for audits and contract compliance; support cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required due to government contract and export control regulations.
• 3–5 years of procurement/purchasing experience, preferably in defense, aerospace, or other regulated manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and ITAR and government contracting processes.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (INFOR Visual, Oracle).
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.
