Salary: $110,500–$123,500/year

What you will do

• Apply client notes to lighting shots with minimal guidance.
• Collaborate with the compositing team to achieve high-quality, complex composites.
• Design and develop procedural tools and techniques to improve lighting pipelines.
• Ensure visual continuity across shots and sequences.
• Mentor junior to mid-level artists and assist leads with quality control.
• Manage time and resources to meet weekly production targets.

Requirements

• Must be based in British Columbia and eligible to work in Canada.
• 5+ years of experience in lighting digital VFX for film or commercials.
• Expert knowledge of physically plausible renderers like Arnold.
• Thorough understanding of linear color-space workflows and multi-pass rendering.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting for automation and workflow efficiency.
• Solid understanding of photography, cinematography, and light interaction.
