TL;DR

Compositor (VFX): Integrating 2D, 3D, and live-action elements into high-quality visual effects shots with an accent on technical precision and artistic composition. Focus on collaborating with VFX Supervisors, addressing creative feedback, and managing assigned shot workflows from project start to final delivery.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Toronto, Canada (Hybrid)

Salary: $70,000 - $120,000 CAD

What you will do

• Seamlessly integrate 2D, 3D, and live-action elements into final shots.
• Interpret and implement creative feedback provided during dailies.
• Apply CG techniques and artistic principles to both new and existing setups.
• Liaise with Production and Lead Artists to meet project schedules and deadlines.
• Take ownership of assigned workloads throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate ideas and project progress in a professional and constructive manner.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of industry-standard compositing software.
• Proven ability to create high-quality VFX work.
• Must be able to work on-site in Toronto in a hybrid capacity.
• Excellent artistic and technical skills.
• Professional communication and collaboration abilities.
