Compositor (VFX)

Location: Toronto, hybrid

Salary: $70,000–$120,000 CAD annually, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Integrate 2D, 3D, CG, and live-action elements into high-quality visual-effects shots.
• Receive creative briefs, attend dailies, and interpret and address constructive feedback.
• Apply CG techniques and artistic principles to create and adapt existing setups.
• Execute assigned shots under the direction of Lead Artists and VFX Supervisors.
• Liaise with Production and Leads regarding schedules and deadlines.
• Own your workload from the start of a project through final delivery.

Requirements

• Confidence in creating high-quality VFX work.
• Strong working knowledge of a range of industry-standard software.
• Ability to communicate thoughts and ideas clearly in a professional and positive manner.
• Ability to continually develop technical skills and artistic craft.
