What you will do
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and animation teams to implement audio that enhances gameplay clarity and immersion.
- Design, edit, and implement sound effects for weapons, vehicles, environments, and scripted events.
- Develop and maintain interactive audio systems to support combat readability and squad coordination.
- Integrate audio content directly into Unreal Engine using Wwise middleware.
- Test, debug, and iterate on audio assets and mix balance to ensure high quality across all platforms.
- Establish and maintain audio quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in game development with a focus on audio design and technical implementation.
- Proven experience shipping at least one title, preferably in the shooter or action genre.
- Expertise in a major DAW such as Reaper or ProTools.
- Proficiency with audio middleware (Wwise) and Unreal Engine integration.
- Strong understanding of interactive audio principles including spatial audio and dynamic mixing.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks within a production environment.
Nice to have
- Passion for military fiction and tactical shooter gameplay.
- Experience designing weapon audio, Foley, or combat-focused systems.
- Familiarity with Jira and AAA production workflows.
- Interest in cinematic mission design and environmental storytelling.
