TL;DR
Senior Data Engineer II (Airflow/Snowflake): Building secure, scalable, and dependable data infrastructure to support global healthcare and academic research with an accent on data orchestration and transformation. Location: Hybrid: Must be based in Mexico City (Reforma), with a requirement to work from the office twice a week

What you will do
- Design and implement robust data orchestration and transformation solutions.
- Build reusable frameworks, modular components, and common deployment patterns using Airflow.
- Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployments and apply Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) for consistent environments.
- Improve platform reliability and scalability through enhanced logging, monitoring, and observability.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define and promote coding and technical standards.
- Identify and address gaps in the data platform while supporting DataOps initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience with modern data technologies such as Airflow, Snowflake, and DBT.
- Ability to build and deploy data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions using Python, SQL, and Jinja.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and familiarity with DataOps and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments.
- Familiarity with designing secure, scalable, and cost-conscious cloud-based data solutions.
- Location: Must be based in Mexico City and willing to go into the office twice a week
