What you will do

• Lead and delegate tasks to install crews, subcontractors, and union trades; may lead a team on large projects.
• Interpret drawing packages and functional design drawings (including cable riser diagrams) to build finished AV systems.
• Install and mount AV equipment (displays, projectors, loudspeakers, microphones, equipment racks) across varied client locations.
• Perform cabling terminations and verify terminations to standards; handle advanced fiber optic installation, termination, repair, and testing.
• Oversee field operations and verify work complies with hirify.global and client QC standards, including situations without a dedicated on-site superintendent.
• Track materials, toolkit, licenses/certifications, and maintain daily records for timesheets and job logs; provide daily feedback to supervisors.

Requirements

• AVIXA CTS Certification is required.
• Washington E06 Low Voltage Electrician license is required.
• OSHA 30 Certificate is required.
• Five or more years of experience as an installation technician or related industry experience.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems; familiarity with audio, video, and networking equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to comply with insurance requirements.

Nice to have

• Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• AVIXA CTS-I Certification.
